The Daily Tar Heel is the independent student newspaper of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The DTH has been recognized as one of the best college newspapers in the country. Additionally, the DTH has won many awards over the years at the national level. During the fall of 2021, I served as the audience engagement editor where I managed the DTH’s social media accounts — Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. I supervised 20+ staffers daily and coached them on how to craft social media copy.
